Forest Haven, also known as The Barn, is a cosy and peaceful abode nestled on the edge of farm pasture and tall gum trees. This quiet nook is ideal for couples or a small whānau looking to unwind in the calm of nature.
Inside, you'll find a warm, inviting space with a queen bed, comfortable lounge furnishings, a fireplace, and a heater to keep things toasty through the seasons. Large windows open to peaceful rural views, with golden light pouring in and native birds your closest neighbours.
The Barn offers a true sense of privacy, while still being close to the wider Mangaroa Farms landscape. Step outside and you’re just minutes from forest walks through gum groves and regenerating bush. It’s a place to reconnect with nature, read by the fire, and breathe easy.
Guests are welcome to pop down the road to our Farm Shop / Kete Kai to pick up fresh produce, or wander one of the nearby trails winding through gardens, forest edges, and quiet farm tracks.

Arrive at the driveway for 195A Whitemans Valley Road. Turn into the driveway and follow it along for approx 200m.
After passing through a gate at the end, you'll see a sign on a post saying "The Barn".
Please follow the road past this sign, and you'll see the barn about 100m up the road. Park at the base and follow the stairs on the right hand side to get to the front door.
